X-Box 360 as a family console? Microsoft recently began selling scaled-down versions of its powerhouse gaming console in order to compete with the Nintendo Wii. Called the “X-Box 360 Arcade,” it’s priced around $280, comes with five family-oriented games, and doesn’t include a hard drive. Well, we also don’t include a hard drive here on BuyTV, but we do have a killer games countdown coming your way.
10 – “SoulCaliber Legends” for Nintendo Wii starts us off at number ten. Use the Wii remote and Nunchuk to master your character's suite of attacks in order to unify the pieces of Soul Edge.
9 – “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” for X-Box 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo DS battles into number nine. Fight through an unfolding story full of twists and turns, using sophisticated technology, superior firepower and coordinated land and air strikes.
8 – Discover an all-new galaxy in our number eight pick. “Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction” for Playstation 3 improves on a classic with a new cast, more objects, and new weapons.

5– Racing up to five is “Need for Speed ProStreet” for X-Box 360, Playstation 3, PSP, PS2, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS. The latest in the franchise is the ultimate formula for an emotionally charged street racing showdown!
4 – The zombies eat up the fourth spot with “Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles” for Nintendo Wii. It’s a brand new game in the Resident Evil Franchise that reveals the backstory behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation.
3 – When a creature escapes into space with Princess Peach, Mario gives chase, exploring bizarre planets all across the galaxy in the Nintendo Wii’s “Super Mario Galaxy,” at number three.
2– “Crysis” for PC debuts in second. It’s the next-generation PC first-person shooter from Crytek, the award-winning developers of “Far Cry.”
1 – “Assassin’s Creed” for X-Box 360 and Playstation 3 skulks into first this week. The setting is 1191 AD. The Third Crusade is tearing the Holy Land apart and your exploits will shape history.
